This is about online video streaming web site and how people use them for their 15 minutes for fame. Those 3 that I mentioned above got more than 15 minutes of fame. :)
Remember those "Coke+mentos experiements"? They got their fame on Youtube showing a very creative coke fountain using only coke and of course mentos. Another example is the "Evolution of Dance" umm.. just watch the video to know what it is. :)
With the advent of high speed internet, Video streaming web site can now provide "quality" video not like the dial up years, where you need to wait.. and wait and wait. for a single web page to load. :) You can now find anything from tv shows, movie clips to personal videos and even "fictional" characters on these sites. People looking for their 15 minutes of fame are posting videos almost every day on these Video Streaming web sites. I personally uses youtube, to share videos to my family and friends abroad.
Gone are the days where you need to copy the video on a blank CD/DVDs and send it to them via fedex or LBS (spell remittance!!!), now just take the video, edit if needed and upload it to youtube or any video streaming web sites. Then send the URL to your family via email and they can watch the video.
